Amalia Athanasiadou

Biography

Amalia Athanasiadou is an attorney-at-law and senior life‑sciences legal executive with deep expertise in antitrust, commercial negotiations and pharmaceutical regulations. She has a decade of in‑house experience working in the headquarters of multinational pharma companies based in Switzerland. Amalia holds a PhD in Competition & Intellectual Property Law from the University of Neuchâtel ("Patent Settlements in the Pharmaceutical Industry under US Antitrust and EU Competition Laws", Wolters Kluwer, 2018), an LL.M. from Maastricht University, and is a Greek‑qualified attorney. She is also the Co‑Chair of the Competition Law Working Group at Ethics & Compliance Switzerland and a frequent speaker on antitrust and life‑sciences law conferences.
