Biography

Simon Henderson is an international human rights lawyer, foreign policy analyst, and academic. He has over 15 years of experience working in NGOs, government, and industry bodies in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and the United States. Simon is a member of the Executive of the International Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a member of the Human Rights Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales. He has been a visiting lecturer at The University of Tokyo and The Education University of Hong Kong, where has taught human rights and advocacy skills. Simon is admitted as a lawyer to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory.
