Maximiliano D'Auro

Biography

Maximiliano D’Auro is Managing Partner of Beccar Varela and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Additionally, he co-heads the Compliance & Investigations department. He has wide experience in corporate law, M&A, banking and financial law. In this field, he has counselled and represented major financial institutions in matters related to the Financial Entities Act, the Public Offering Act and regulations issued by the Argentine Central Bank and the National Securities Commission. He has also a great deal of expertise in designing and implementing compliance programs for the prevention of money laundering and counter terrorism financing. Maximiliano received his Law Degree from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (1997) and his LLM from the London School of Economics (2000). He is currently pursuing an MBA at the Business School of the Center for Macroeconomic Studies of Argentina (UCEMA). Maximiliano has been recognized by several publications such as Chambers Latin America, Chambers Global, The Legal 500, Who's Who Legal, Latin Lawyer 250, LACCA Approved, LACCA Thought Leaders, IFLR 1000, GIR 100 and Leaders League. He speaks Spanish, French and English.
