Guillaume De Rancourt
Biography
Guillaume de Rancourt is a partner and head of Dispute Resolution at Franklin, covering litigation, arbitration and internal investigations. With a dual French and US legal background, he advises clients on complex domestic and cross-border disputes. Before joining Franklin, he spent twenty years at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Paris and New York. He is recognised for his work in international investigations and compliance, with a particular focus on anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and anti-corruption. His practice spans white-collar criminal defence, corporate and individual fraud, and economic sanctions. He also advises multinational groups on compliance and governance frameworks designed to meet the requirements of multiple jurisdictions, as well as on preventive measures, crisis management and cross-border strategic risk.
