Biography

Richard is a Corporate and M&A partner at Macfarlanes in London. Richard has extensive experience across all fields of corporate finance activity. He has a particular focus on advising in relation to transactions with publicly listed companies - whether in respect of public takeovers, securities offerings or minority investments. Richard is Co-Head of the firm’s Technology Group. Along with advising technology clients, he regularly writes and speaks on the legal challenges that scaling companies have to surmount. Richard has advised a diverse range of clients on numerous transactions, including Accor, Epiris, RateSetter, Dana Inc., Improbable Worlds, Altria, Peel Hunt and Redburn.
