Biography

Mr. Lingqi Wang is a partner at Fangda Partners based in Shanghai. He specializes in restructuring and insolvency as well as commercial dispute resolution, particularly matters with cross-border elements. In areas of insolvency, Lingqi regularly acts as court-appointed administrator or counsel for shareholders, debtors, creditors and restructuring sponsors in large, complex cases of out-of-court restructuring, liquidation, reorganization, and involuntary dissolution. As litigation and arbitration counsel for corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds, and financial institutions, Lingqi handles significant commercial cases, including disputes involving buyout/minority investment, joint ventures, corporate control, contract, and other complex commercial matters. He is a member of the Asian Advisory Council of INSOL and a panel arbitrator with Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (SHIAC).
