Yosuke Kanegae

Biography

Yosuke Kanegae is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He graduated from Kyoto University Faculty of Law in 1999, was admitted to the bar in 2000, and graduated from Northwestern University School of Law (LL.M.) in 2005. He joined the firm in 2015 and became a partner in 2017. He has represented debtors, creditors, investors, and other related parties in a wide range of corporate restructuring cases. He is listed in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2026 Restructuring/Insolvency (Band 2), The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2025 Restructuring and Insolvency (Leading Individual), Best Lawyers 2025 edition (Insolvency and Reorganization Law), and asialaw 2024 Restructuring and insolvency (Leading Lawyers).
