Jason Yen

Biography

Jason Yen is Head of Tax Policy and Strategic Projects at OpenAI, where he is a member of the Finance team and leads work on domestic and international tax policy and the economic-policy implications of AI. He also oversees strategic, cross-functional projects involving international expansion, investment incentives, and the tax implications of new business models and major transactions. Before joining OpenAI, he was a principal in EY’s National Tax Department. Earlier, as Associate International Tax Counsel in the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Tax Policy, he represented the United States in OECD negotiations and helped develop major international tax legislation and regulations.
