Biography

Diogo Pessanha is a Professional Partner at Abreu Advogados since 2022, working primarily in the areas of corporate and M&A. He is particularly involved in matters related to corporate governance, providing regular support to national and international companies in various sectors. In the various M&A operations and projects in which he is involved, he provides all the corporate and commercial analysis, as well as the structuring of the acquisition, negotiation and drafting of contracts, having relevant experience in transactions in the areas of health, metalworking, wine, textiles and the chemical and petrochemical industry. He also has extensive experience in negotiating and restructuring bank loans and creating national and international guarantees. He also provides advice on employment law issues, with particular emphasis on the conduct of termination of employment contracts (collective dismissals and termination of employment) and disciplinary proceedings.
