Biography

Robert is a Senior Associate within the Tax Group of Eversheds Sutherland Ireland. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Robert trained and qualified as a solicitor and chartered tax advisor in a Big 4 accountancy firm. Robert has extensive experience advising large corporates and multinational corporations on a wide range of Irish corporate tax and stamp duty matters, particularly with respect to M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations and restructurings, and inward investment into Ireland. Robert also advises on complex VAT matters, particularly in relation to commercial real estate, and advises a number of large domestic and international corporations and financial institutions. Robert also works closely with the Employment and Litigation Groups of the firm on both contentious and non-contentious employment and litigation tax matters.
