Biography

Jarle Kvam's core practice area is M&A. The major part of his work relates to cross-border transactions, including joint ventures and public to private transactions. He frequently assists international, Nordic and local buy-out funds as well as industrial players. Jarle Kvam has a law degree from Copenhagen University and after seven years of practice in Denmark he has practiced in Norway (which is his native country) since 1997. He is also qualified as a solicitor of England & Wales (QLTT) and has an MBA degree from Henley Management College in England. Jarle Kvam is the founder and chair of the annual "Nordic Buy Out Forum", the largest M&A conference in the Nordics attracting more than 500 registered participants every year, all active within the Nordic M&A market.
