Biography

Alastair Levy is Global Director of Risk at McKinsey & Company, where he has worked since 2000 and is a member of McKinsey’s global Client Service Risk Committee. He led work to build McKinsey’s global risk function and currently leads McKinsey’s activities on client service risk, on which he advises the firm globally. He previously co-led work to build McKinsey’s global public sector practice and advised on government reform in over 30 countries. He had earlier careers in the UK civil service and as an orchestral and operatic conductor. He studied Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University and orchestral conducting at the Royal College of Music.
