Biography

Shane Milam counsels a wide range of private investment funds in all fund-related U.S. tax issues, including fund formation, acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, recapitalizations and refinancings. He also advises sovereign wealth funds and pension funds in matters relating to private equity investments, co-investments, managed accounts, joint ventures and acquisitions and dispositions. Shane has significant cross-border experience, representing private funds and both public and private companies in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financings and derivatives transactions. Shane has been recognized by a number of industry publications for his work in tax law, including The Legal 500.
