Biography

Valeria Chapa Garza is currently Vice President and General Counsel at Orbia, a company listed in the Mexican stock exchange that operates in 41 countries through five business groups: Precision Agriculture, Building and Infrastructure, Fluorinated Solutions, Data Communication and Polymer Solutions. At Orbia, Valeria is responsible for corporate and global legal operations. Before her time at Orbia, Valeria worked at AT&T Mexico and Honeywell International. As founder of Abogadas MX she has been recognized by Chambers & Partners, Forbes, Expansion, Latin Lawyer, Profiles in Diversity Journal and LACCA for her work in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion to advance the career of women in the legal profession in Mexico.
