Biography

A founder partner of Lewis Silkin's employment practice in 1992, I have seen the employment team grow from two of us - Michael Burd and me - to around 200 lawyers. I acted as Divisional Managing Partner for many years until 2019. The clients I work for range from some of the world's largest multinationals to small businesses, other law firms and senior executives. My particular interests include international employment law and the future of work. I write and speak nationally and internationally on a regular basis on these and other employment-related issues.
