Biography

Kyriakos is Managing Partner of HSF Kramer's global Competition/Antitrust, Regulation and Trade practice as well as Managing Partner of the Brussels Office. He has more than two decades of experience in competition law, dealing with all aspects of EU and UK competition law, including merger control, cartels and investigations, unilateral conduct, and competition litigation before the EU courts. He works closely with the HSF Kramer network to provide advice on multi-jurisdictional transactions and investigations. Kyriakos was formerly a European Commission official at the Directorate General for Competition's Merger Task Force and as a Référendaire in the cabinet of the President of the General Court of the EU. While at the Commission, he dealt with merger transactions and was part of the team that drafted the current EU Merger Regulation and accompanying notices. Kyriakos is widely recognised as a leading competition lawyer – ranked in Lexology Index (formerly Who's Who Legal) as a 'Global Elite Thought Leader' for Competition, and in other major directories – and is currently Co-Chair of the IBA Antitrust Committee.
