Charles Corwin Coward

Biography

Charles Coward began his career as a lawyer on Wall Street. He practiced law for almost 40 years with Uría Menéndez in both Madrid and Barcelona. In 2003 Charles was named an Honorary Founding Partner of the firm and currently serves as a member of the firm’s Advisory Board. He is recognized as a leading lawyer by international legal directories such as Chambers & Partners PLC, IFLR and International Who´s Who of Lawyers. His roles as a bi-lingual and bi-cultural legal specialist, guide and problem solver, have taken him from Spain to Puerto Rico and most Latin America countries. He currenly focuses on advisory roles and frequently teaches seminars at ESADE Law School on managing cultural differences and the future of the legal profession.
