Christian Hilti

Biography

Christian Hilti is a litigator in the areas of patent, trademark, design and copyright law as well as unfair competition law. In addition to his broad experience in the field of intellectual property right, he further practices in contract law and arbitration. Subsequent to his law school studies in Fribourg and Zürich, Christian Hilti earned his PhD degree at the University of Zürich in 1986 (magna cum laude). He was admitted to the bar in 1988 and earned a Masters Degree (LL.M.) at the University of California at Berkeley, School of Law, Boalt Hall (1989 to 1990). He then worked in a US law firm and as assistant of Prof. Lawrence Sullivan at Berkeley. Christian Hilti founded his own law firm specialized in intellectual property in 1992.
