Biography

Lloyd Kavanagh is a Senior Partner at New Zealand law firm MinterEllisonRuddWatts where he founded and now leads its financial services practice. He is a sought-after deal maker and adviser on investment funds, insurance, banking, fintech, financial services regulation, and corporate governance. Lloyd is a board member at National provident Fund and Lawyers for Climate Action NZ Inc, and a Fellow of the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand Inc (INFINZ). Amongst many other roles, he served for 6 years as a board member of the New Zealand Securities Commission.
