Tara Archer-Glasgow

Biography

Tara Archer-Glasgow is a highly experienced dispute resolution lawyer with 25 years of experience in all aspects of commercial litigation. She is a partner at Higgs & Johnson and is the Chairperson of the Firm’s Litigation practice group along with spearheading its Asset Recovery Unit. Tara regularly appears as counsel in many important cases in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and has also appeared in cases before the Privy Council in England. She provides legal advice to individuals, major financial service providers and global corporations regarding multi-jurisdictional litigation, shareholder disputes, fraud, asset-tracing and internal operations. She has assisted clients successfully in the tracing and recovery of millions of dollars. Tara has advised creditors in several prominent cross border insolvency cases and most notably now represents claimants in the Provisional Liquidation of a multi-billion-dollar cryptocurrency exchange. She is recognized by leading legal directories for her expertise and sterling client service. Tara is a former law lecturer at the University of The Bahamas and an Alumni of The University of Western Ontario Canada, The University of Essex, The Inns of Court School of Law in England and she recently completed the Executive Program - Blockchain and Crypto Applications: From Decentralized Finance to Web 3 from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
