Jose Feris

Biography

José Feris is Partner at Squire Patton Boggs. He represents private and public entities in commercial and investment arbitrations and sits as arbitrator. José also teaches international arbitration at Sciences Po in Paris and holds leadership positions in various organizations. Previously in his career, he served as Deputy Secretary General, among other capacities, at the ICC International Court of Arbitration. He has supervised thousands of arbitration proceedings and reviewed an equal number of arbitral awards in a wide range of jurisdictions, languages and applicable laws. José was instrumental in the 2012 and 2017 revisions of the ICC Rules of Arbitration. He speaks Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and has basic notions of Russian.
