Biography

Simone Lahorgue Nunes has a wide-ranging Media&Entertainment, Sports, and Privacy/Data Protection practices and advises clients in connection with a broad variety of matters. She has also many years of experience representing clients in financial market transactions. Ms. Lahorgue previously served as General Counsel to a financial institution in Brazil and to Organizações Globo, where her practice during 11 years extended to several businesses such as free TV, pay TV, internet, newspaper, sound recorder, radio and audiovisual content production, as well as to contractual and corporate matters. She is a professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Law School), an arbitrator with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) (2011-2016).
