Tina Søreide
Biography
Tina Søreide is Professor of Law and Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), Department of Accounting, Auditing and Law. Her research is focused on corruption, governance, markets and development, currently with an emphasis on criminal justice systems. She was previously employed by the Faculty of Law, University of Bergen (UiB), the Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI) and the World Bank, Washington DC. She gives academic courses in Political Economy and The Economics of Corruption. Her work is published internationally in books, academic journals and policy reports. Søreide has been engaged in various international assignments for policy purposes, including for the EU, the OECD and the World Bank.
