Biography

Chris joined Burges Salmon in 1991 having previously served as an officer in the Royal Navy for 11 years. Chris has been on the Burges Salmon LLP’s Board of Management for 6 years initially with responsibility for the firm’s International relations and from 1 May of this year as Senior Partner of Burges Salmon LLP and chair of the firm’s Board. Chris is an employment partner and deals with a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment work advising UK and international employers on UK and cross-border employment issues. Chris is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and provides training on employment law issues for clients and professional bodies.
