Rustam Ilzhanov

Biography

Rustam started his professional career in 2000. Before joining Sayat Zholshy & Partners (SZP), he worked as a lawyer for a major condensed gas transportation company. Rustam joined SZP in 2001 and was admitted to partnership in 2002. In February 2007, he was appointed the Managing Partner of the firm and in January 2008 became the Senior Partner. Rustam Ilzhanov is actively involved in all affairs of the Firm related to international cooperation. He builds and maintains connections with foreign law firms and organisations as partners. Rustam is the primary contact for all foreign colleagues and new clients and, subsequently, ensures proper communication and coordination of joint activities. Education: Columbia University, USA
