Biography

Marcus Dearle is a partner and head of Berwin Leighton Paisner’s Family Asset Protection team in London and Hong Kong. He is one of Asia’s leading Family and Private Wealth lawyers, and advises High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals, families and trustees on all aspects of relationship breakdown. He is recommended as a leading individual in Chambers Asia Pacific: “sources respect his assessment of a case saying: 2017 and 2018 editions - ‘when he speaks, you listen, because he invariably gets the case spot on’” and ‘hugely experienced, very client-focused and responsive…a very big name in Hong Kong’. He is a Fellow of the IAFL and an officer of the IBA Family Law Committee. He launched Family Asset Protection in 2017 – forming the first new family law team in a major commercial law firm headquartered in London in decades.
