Marc Weber
Biography
Marc Weber is a Zurich-based attorney whose studies took him to the Universities of Zurich, Stanford and Berkeley. He is a specialist in art law and advises private collectors, auction houses, museums, foundations, banks and insurance companies. Marc served as a sub-member of the Independent Commission of Experts Switzerland – Second World War (Bergier Commission) in the role of an expert on looted art. Among other roles, he acts as an authority on the restitution of Nazi-looted art in international disputes, such as the Beethoven Frieze in Austria. He is a regular speaker at conferences and has published numerous articles on art law, inheritance law, civil procedure and international private law. Marc teaches art law at the Universities of Zurich, Vienna and Thessaloniki.
