Biography

Burke is GCM Grosvenor's General Counsel and a member of its Operations Committee. He leads GCM Grosvenor's Legal Department and is responsible for hedge fund strategies, private equity, infrastructure, real estate and other investment and client-related legal matters. His legal responsibilities also include the firm’s proprietary transactions and corporate matters, as well as issues related to employment, regulatory and compliance. Prior to joining GCM Grosvenor, Burke was a corporate attorney at Sidley Austin LLP, where he was a member of its Investment Funds group. He received his JD from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and his BA from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the New York and Illinois Bars.
