Biography

Peter Reinarz is a senior member of the Practice Group Tax Law of Bär & Karrer. Peter graduated from University of Zurich in 1982 and was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 1987. After practicing as a lawyer in Swiss and international law as well as accounting firms, he became a certified tax expert in 1992. After a period of work as foreign tax lawyer in the United States Peter joined Bär & Karrer in 1994. Peter has broad experience in all taxation matters, relating to both corporate and individuals. His special focus lies on corporate tax planning, cross-border structuring of corporate transactions and businesses, as well as taxation of financial institutions and their products. Peter is also regularly handling complex fiscal matters of wealthy families. Peter also has broad practical experience in general business law matters. He serves as a board member of the European distribution company of a major manufacturer of medical appliances.
