Biography

Jutta Schneider studied at Philipps-Universität in Marburg and University of Virginia, School of Law. She was admitted to the bar in Germany and in New York in 1992. Since 1996 she is also accredited as German tax advisor. Before starting her own business she was a tax partner in the Frankfurt and New York offices of Clifford Chance until 2010, and in the Frankfurt office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe until 2014. Since more than 25 years she advises clients on both, international and German tax matters, in particular relating to M&A and financing transactions, financial products and tax planning for corporate groups. Her clients include industry Groups (e.g. Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, Linde, media control, l'tur, Cathay Pacific Airways and Citigroup) as well as real estate and other investors (such as Deutsche Land, Numisma, Provinzial Versicherungen and University Ventures).
