Biography

Elisa Henry is a partner with the Canadian law firm McMillan LLP where she co-chairs the Privacy and Data Protection Practice Group. She is a member of the Paris and Quebec Bars and is also an Officer of the Technology Law Committee of the IBA. Elisa advises clients on a broad range of privacy and data security compliance, intellectual property, information technology, e-commerce and business law issues. Her clients operate in various jurisdictions and industries, including technology, telecommunications, aviation and aeronautics, financial services, retail, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining McMillan, Elisa practised in international law firms based in Paris and then was Executive Director of McGill University's Centre for Intellectual Property Policy. Elisa is listed in this year’s Who’s Who Legal as an expert in Data Privacy and Protection, Data Security and Information Technology and is recognized as a highly recommended practice leader for IT and outsourcing in the Leader’s League ranking.
