Alison Pickup
Biography
Alison Pickup is the Legal Director of the Public Law Project in London. PLP is an independent national legal charity which aims to improve access to justice and to public law remedies for those whose access is restricted by poverty, discrimination or other similar barriers. Alison is an employed barrister and before joining the PLP she was in independent practice at Doughty Street Chambers in London where she had a public law practice with a particular focus on migrants' rights. In 2015, Alison was awarded the Legal Aid Barrister of the Year and the Chambers and Partners Human Rights and Public Law Junior of the Year award.
