Biography

Criminal defence counsel, specialising in fraud cases, forensic investigation, environmental as well as economic crime. He has been advising (inter)national companies, financial institutions, auditors and governmental authorities on anti money-laundering, anti corruption and fraud matters. Also lecturer at the University of Utrecht (Willem Pompe Institute for Penal Law Science) and coordinates the Specialisation Course Criminal Defense Lawyer, initiated by the Netherlands Bar Association (NBA). Member of the Anti Money Laundering Committee and the Criminal Law Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE).
