Biography

Munesh Mahtani is a senior competition counsel at Google. At Google, Munesh manages a wide range of competition matters involving the company, including on the ongoing EU Article 102 investigation, in MOFCOM’s review of Google’s acquisition and recent sale of Motorola and in antitrust investigations and litigation across Europe and Asia. He is currently based in Asia-Pacific overseeing competition law and policy initiatives within the region. Munesh started his career at Clifford Chance in London and prior to joining Google, Munesh was an in-house counsel at British Sky Broadcasting in the UK. Munesh has written on aspects of EU and UK competition law, including contributing chapters to the The Law of Cartels and on the meaning of “object” in Article 101 TFEU, and is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars.
