Biography

In 2014, Gabriella Muscolo was appointed as Commissioner at the Italian Competition Authority. From 2003 to 2012, she sat as a Judge at the Specialist Section for IP and Competition Law at the District Court of Rome, then since 2012 at the Court for Undertakings in Rome. From 2009 to 2014, she was appointed member of the Enlarged Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office. She is a usual lecturer of Competition and IP Law at Italian and foreign Universities. She has published in Italian as well as in English in the fields of Competition and Intellectual Property Law, authoring several articles on Italian and European Journals and coauthoring various books.
