Monica Maduekwe

Biography

Monica Maduekwe is Renewable Energy Program Officer at the Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). With rich experience in developing regional policies and regulatory instruments for renewable energy, energy efficiency and gender mainstreaming, she has worked on several energy programs and served as regional coordinator for the GEF Strategic Program for West Africa (SPWA), and the ECOWAS Program on Gender Mainstreaming in Energy Access. She holds an MSc. in Energy Studies with a specialization in energy and the environment from the University of Dundee.
