Ana Pereira

Biography

Chemical Engineer, with a PhD on Chemical and Biological Engineering, working on Innovation Management within water treatment for almost 10 years. Her work is being focused on the study and develop fouling monitoring technologies for water treatment systems towards processes optimization. She has been involved in several projects regarding drinking water safety, water disinfection with nanoparticles and water reuse in a perspective of circular economy. Her work has also been focused on understanding which are the best approaches to mitigate Legionella proliferation .
