Biography

Matthias is a partner in Bird & Bird's International Energy & Utilities Sector Group. He did economics/banking before becoming a lawyer. Matthias advises German and international clients on German and European energy, regulatory, and environmental law. He has additional expertise in corporate law and M&A. Matthias is a regular contributor to conventional and online legal publications, including the German Energy Blog.
