Biography

Michael supports RBC’s asset servicing business and leads a legal team supporting operations throughout Europe. The team is focused on investment funds, banking, regulatory, securities, credit, and capital markets. He is a member of the Executive Committee of RBC’s subsidiary bank in Luxembourg which is regulated by the ECB and the Luxembourg CSSF. Previously, Michael held senior roles with responsibility for all subsidiary governance matters within RBC across Europe and is specialized in corporate governance within financial institutions. Michael speaks English, French, and German. Prior to joining RBC, Michael practised corporate, commercial and insolvency law in Canada.
