Biography

Ulrike Naumann is a Partner at Pan-African law firm Bowmans, based in their Johannesburg office in South Africa. Bowmans is a large corporate law firm which has over 500 lawyers spread across 6 different offices in South Africa, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Ulrike heads up the Finance Practice of Bowmans and has significant experience in all areas of lending, with a specific focus on leveraged finance, property finance, capital markets and restructuring work. Her clients operate across various sectors, including mining, private equity, financial services, insurance and manufacturing. She has lived and worked in South Africa, Germany and England and is a member of the Banking Law Committee of the IBA.
