Gregory Frigo
Biography
Gregory Frigo is a senior supervision officer at the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets. Gregory grew up in the United States and attended Pitzer College, Boston University and the University of Wisconsin Law School. Gregory then studied at the University of Amsterdam, where he received a Masters degree in Dutch law. After completing his studies, Gregory worked in the finance practice at the Amsterdam office of a large international law firm and then went on to work at the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets. Gregory is currently involved in the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets’ supervision of prospectuses and is also responsible for policy matters in relation to prospectuses. Gregory represents the AFM in relation to corporate finance matters within ESMA and has also participated in task forces within the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). Gregory was seconded to the Dutch Ministry of Finance during the Dutch Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
