Biography

Michal Barlowski is senior counsel, former senior partner at Wardynski & Partners, where he deals with restructuring and bankruptcy as well as M&A and corporate law cases. He studied at the LSE (BSc Econ) and at the University of Warsaw (MA Law). He has been an attorney at law since 1993. He acted as a member of two groups of experts to the European Commission: on the recast Regulation 848/2016 and on draft Directive on Preventive Restructuring Frameworks […] published on 22 November 2016, acted as counsel in the ECJ C-116/11 case, advised on Polish law issues in the Nortel case and others, contributed to ”Financing Company Group Restructurings” (published by Oxford University Press in September 2015), and others.
