Mohamed Ghannam
Biography
Mohamed Ghannam heads the Firm's Banking & Finance and Energy, Mining & Infrastructure practice groups in Cairo. He is consistently ranked in the top tier for banking and finance by Chambers Global, IFLR1000 and Legal 500 EMEA for his project finance and cross-border finance practice. Mohamed focuses on project finance, major projects, mergers and acquisitions, oil and gas, capital market and transactional work. He has acted as counsel to many of the world's leading multinational companies and financial institutions in various industries helping them carry out high-value, precedent-setting transactions in Egypt. Mohamed received his law degree with high honors from Cairo University Law School in 1985. He received a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School in 1987 and a second Master of Laws degree from Chicago-Kent Law School in 1993 (Dean’s List).
