Biography

Mariusz Witalis is a Partner leading the EY Forensic & Integrity Services practice in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA). He has extensive, over 20 years of experience working with legal counsels, internal audit and compliance functions on the matters related to fraud and arising under the US FCPA as well as a number of other country-specific anti-corruption and competition regulations. His clients include multinational companies, top local companies, regulators and law enforcement agencies. He supervised over 500 fraud, forensic and compliance engagements in over 40 countries in EMEIA (mainly in CESA). Mariusz is a frequent speaker at international conferences and seminars devoted to compliance and fraud management and an author of numerous articles on compliance and business fraud. He has a Diploma of Polish Statutory Auditor, Certified Internal Auditor and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. Mariusz is a member of the Compliance Committee at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and teaches on compliance and forensic audit at Warsaw universities.
