Biography

Belynda is the CEO of OneWorld Sustainable Investments, a development consultancy focused on adaptation to changing climate and resource constraints. She is involved in the development of the global climate governance architecture, and in facilitating engagement with a view to increasing the African voice in multilateral processes. As a recognised expert on climate change and water security, she regularly contributes to conferences and global research. Ms Petrie is a research associate with the South African Institute of International Affairs, is a member of the Science Program Committee for Stockholm International Water Week, and is an Advisor on the African Water, Climate and Development Program for the Global Water Partnership.
