Emma Witbooi
Biography
'Emma Witbooi has a background in marine and environmental law with a particular focus on fisheries crime during the last 5 years. She has a doctorate in marine and environmental law from University College London and held a post-doctorate fellowship under the Chair in the Law of the Sea and Development in Africa at NMU from 2014-2017. Emma is the director of the PescaDOLUS international fisheries crime network and has consulted for the UNODC's Global Programme for Combatting Wildlife and Forest Crime and the UNODC's Global Maritime Crime Programme
