Biography

Karl is the Chairman of SwissHoldings, a Federation of Swiss Industrial Holding Companies, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kuoni and Hugentobler Foundation. He is also member of the boards of several entities and the immediate past Group General Counsel of Schindler Holding AG, a position he held for over 25 years between 1993 and 2018. He is a Professor of Business & Private Law at Zurich University and Chairman Advisory Board “Program for the Comparative Study of Law and Corporate Governance
