Biography

Volker is General Counsel and Compliance Officer at LEG Immobilien AG, one of Germany`s leading listed real estate companies. At LEG, Volker heads the division Legal, Structure and Organization, comprising the group`s inhouselegal services, internal audit & compliance functions and a department dealing with the management and optimization of the group`s business processes. Prior to joining LEG in 2013, Volker was with Sullivan & Cromwell, Frankfurt, where he started his professional career in 2007. Volker studied in Freiburg, Berlin (Humboldt), Hagen and Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a qualified lawyer, holds a master`s degree in economics and a PhD in law.
