Biography

Julie Abdalla is a Tax Associate at MinterEllison. Julie has experience advising on a wide range of corporate taxation matters, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, structuring and tax due diligence. Julie provides tax advice and legal drafting for mergers, acquisitions, divestments, corporate restructures, tax consolidation, financing transactions including debt and equity issuances, and employment tax matters. In 2017, Julie won the IBA Taxes Committee Scholarship and the Australian Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Award for Tax. Julie was also a finalist in The Tax Institute Tax Adviser of the Year Awards in the Emerging Tax Star category and a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in the Young Gun of the Year category.
