Biography

Partner – Real Estate, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, New Zealand Andrew advises both private sector and public sector clients on all aspects of commercial property, with a particular emphasis on large-scale urban renewal and development projects involving the public sector and private developers. Andrew acted for the New Zealand Government on several of its anchor rebuild projects following the devastating earthquakes in Christchurch and continues to be heavily involved in hospital, hotel, education and regeneration projects around New Zealand. He is also a recognised expert on New Zealand’s direct foreign investment regime and advises offshore investors and global funds on their investments in local real estate assets. Andrew has been recognised as a leading individual in both Chambers Asia-Pacific and Asia Pacific 500 directories for his real estate expertise. He is also currently an officer of the IBA Real Estate Section committee.
